Marketing During the Holidays

Tis the season to up your marketing practices! You wouldn't think so, but the Christmas season is a great time to stand out above the rest. There are less than 100 days in 2018, so you better get busy.

Below are a few tips on marketing during the holidays.

Have a "Door Decoration Contest" on FaceBook
Start a FaceBook door decoration contest and have your clients and potential homebuyers post pictures of their holiday decorated doors. The winner receives a gift certificate to Starbucks.

Host a Tree Lighting event
Decorate one of the trees in front of the office or at an open house and invite your clients and neighbors. Offer hot cider, tea, hot cocoa or coffee and give out candy canes to the kids.

Give back to your community
Host a canned food drive, make your office a Toys for Tots drop off location or take coat donations for the homeless. There are many ways to give back to the community that you live in.

Start a "Year in Review" or a "Project 365"
Begin in January by taking at least one photo every day for the year and post it on your Social Media platforms. Instagram and Facebook are great for this type of project.

Give back to your clients
Spend a day dropping of little trinkets on the doorsteps of your clients. Gift ideas such as poinsettias, holiday ornaments, cookies are a great way to say "Thank You!".

There are many ways to get your name out there during the holidays. Get into the spirit and make some fun and possibly some new friends and/or clients.
